RE: GW4 Nanomedicine Conference and Workshop 16th July – Directions/Call for Presentation Materials/Dietary Requirements
We are delighted to confirm your attendance to the GW4 Nanomedicine Conference and Workshop “Key Challenges and Future Directions” at the University of Exeter on Tuesday 16th July.
The event will take place at Reed Hall, University of Exeter, Streatham Campus, Streatham Drive, EX4 4QR and will run from 9:30am to 18:00pm with drinks and posters from 18:00-19:00 followed by an evening meal in Holland Hall from 19:30 to 21:30.
One Minute Flash Presentation
All participants have the opportunity to showcase their work in a one-minute flash presentation. If you would like to do so please provide us with a landscape (horizontal orientation) PowerPoint slide (preferable a single image or graph that best describes your work!). Please make sure you include your FULL name on the slide.
If you indicated on the registration form you would like to bring/present a poster, there will be PORTRAIT posters boards with sticky Velcro tabs available. Please bring hard copy of your poster with you to the conference.
Accommodation and Meals
Please note that accommodation and meals on the day/evening of the event are provided free to delegates; however any travel or en route subsistence costs are the responsibility of the delegate!
For those who have requested accommodation on the night of Tuesday 16th July you will be staying in Holland Hall, the venue for the evening meal, and you will able to check in at the end of the conference day.
The conference will include coffee breaks and snacks, a buffet lunch and a three course evening meal.
Please advise at your earliest opportunity of any dietary requirements, IF different from what you indicted in the registration form (GF, vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, food allergies) to firstname.lastname@example.org and no later than 1 July. NB: We will do our best to accommodate any special dietary requirements but please be aware that last minute requests cannot be catered for.

Alternatively - the University and Reed Hall is a 15 minute walk from Exeter St David’s station (20-25 from Central station), and is signposted.
Transport Share Opportunities
Let us know if you would like us to make your attendance known to others at your university and to share email contact for possible joint travel opportunities.
Free on-site parking is available on a first come first served basis at Reed Hall (go through a barrier which will open automatically and you will need a pass code to leave the car park at the end of the day on 16th or in the morning of the 17th. Please ensure you get the departure code from the Reed Hall Receptionist prior to her departure at 5:15pm.
Delegates staying overnight should use parking at Holland Hall from the evening (a short drive or walk from Reed Hall) or during the day if Reed Hall parking is full and permits will be available at check in.
Should both parking areas be full then metered parking is available along Streatham Drive and elsewhere on campus.
Luggage may be stored in a room close to the conference area in Reed Hall. As storage space is limited attendees arriving by car are encouraged to keep luggage in their car for the duration of the conference/workshop if appropriate.
